ABOUT US: The Stobbie Snappers likes to think of itself as a friendly sociable camera club which doesn't take itself too seriously. We all love our photography and strive to improve our techniques and photographs but we also like to share our expertise and knowledge with each other - after all photography is supposed to be fun and that usually means spending time with others with a similar interest.
This group is an opportunity for eager amateur photographers or anyone who simply enjoys taking photographs to help document the regeneration of the Stobswell area. The group learns the skills of photo manipulation using Adobe Photoshop CS2. The Snappers are not an equipment-focused club, so new members who perhaps do not yet have a camera or have relatively simple or inexpensive equipment will be assured of a warm welcome and will not feel out of place.
